Last September the 9th, Districlima opened its doors to the Bosch Experience Spain. This initiative, organized by Bosch Spain, brought together five Spanish bloggers (Xataka Science, ChicaGeek, Xabier Estevan, Kanseicocinas and H2Jr) in a 4-day trip across the country, with the aim of knowing innovative projects in which Bosch has participated. In its stop in Barcelona, the group visited Districlima’s Tanger Plant, where its Managing Directo, Mr David Serrano, gave them a complete view of the project, which allowed the attendees to check in situ the scope of the district heating and cooling system of the technological district 22@ and the Forum area, and why it has become an icon of sustainability and technological innovation.

Districlima currently supplies power to over 80 buildings along a network of 15 km, and in 2014 saved 17,425 tons of CO₂ to the City (equivalent to the annual consumption of CO₂ of over 2,300 families of 3 members).
