On November 17th, a Brazilian delegation, headed by the Prefect of Porto Alegre, visited the DISTRICLIMA facilities.

Porto Alegre is one of the most important cities in Brazil, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. It has a population of 1,420,667 inhabitants and approximately 4 million inhabitants in its metropolitan area. Its population, industrial tradition and strategic position are common points with the city of Barcelona, so that, although in different environments and realities, both cities must face the challenges of sustainable development. The Mayor was interested in the implementation of the DISTRICLIMA network in the model of urban development and its characteristics, especially as far as refrigeration service is concerned.
